    Right then.

I bought my AGU engine with hardly anything on it, but have basically gathered 99% of all the bits and pieces i need.

Trouble is, its hard to place where everything goes, being a modern engine its not as simple of the old 8v's i worked on in the past.

Here is a link to the page which Jon P and Eddie (Toyotec) helped me out with  - CLICKY

Im still a little stuck on a few things so im hoping you guys can help me out!

    1. & 2. - Not sure which one is the feed or return to the heater matrix ?

    3. Cant seem to figure out where this goes either ? Looking back in the thread posted above ^, Toyotec states that the oil cooler lines go to the metal pipe, as labled above ?

    But as seen here -

the shape of the bottom oil cooler hose looks like it fits onto the bottom of the coolant sensor flange, labled 3 ?

    Also...

Using the MK4's engine as a guide, i noticed that im missing this part -

    4. Looks like a coolant seperator of some sort ? Anyone have a part number ?

I traced one of the outlets back to the expansion tank.

    5. But not sure where number 5 goes ?

Also, i bought the oil return pipe, and the two coolant feed and returns.
Not sure which is which now though ?

The AGU still had the turbo oil feed still connected, going from the oil cooler, round to the back of the head. The return is easy, as its goes to the sump and has different fittings.

So im basically stuck on the water feed and returns -

    6.

    7.

And where to on the turbo ?

    8, 9 and 10.

Noticed the 2 vacuum niples on the actuator and one on the tip.
Im sure one goes to the DV and 2 to the N75? Again im not sure ?

    11, 12 & 13 ?

Sorry for the long detailed thread, just need to know where everything goes really so i can start getting it built up.

    Cheers. Richard.

I think i have a spare one of those Richard :-)
Number 6 goes to the back of the block
Number 7 goes from the turbo round the cam cover & links into the seperator in the pic above (on mine)
Its usually where the electric water pump goes (that works after the engine is shut off & not really needed)
The actuator is from an Ibiza cupra, they are the only ones i know of with 2 x take-offs,number 12 is the normal nipple to use (possibly blank number 11 or its a new/another k03 actuator but count the threads before removing it)

    Thanks for that

Its strange that its listed as not fitted ? Need to find a part number for this.

Tried to see what it was in the Mk4, but its too cramped to get near to it!

A bolts to the block. You can just about make out the union bolt just behind pipe b at the end of your red arrow.
    Pretty sure B goes to:

    Right then.

Looks like we have got to the bottom of where the turbo coolant supply and feed lines go, cheers guys

Going back to post 1, anyone know which is the matrix feed / return. 1 or 2 ?

    And where / what 3 is ?

Although a k04 pic,the lines go to the same places,

Oil feed goes to the top of the turbo, towards the block, return oil can just be seen at the bottom.

Matrix "in" pipe i think is number 2 (i'll check tomorrow for you) it goes to the left pipe as you look at the bulkhead.

3 connects to 7 but needs a reducer.

    Cheers Tommy

So is there a longer piece which connects 3. to 7. ?

Its just looking at the front of the engine, number 7. will come around from the left from the turbo. And number 3. on the coolant flange is on the right side of the cylinder head.

So is there a piece just runs between this across the front of the head. I know you mentioned a reducer, but it is a long one ?

    Cheers mate

Yes 3 to 7, I have 2 joiners on mine, one of which is a factory reducer (where your AGU throttle body would be,the other is just to the left of my dipstick)

Follow the pipe in this pic :-)
