hi,I've got the chance to buy a mk2 golf 1600 driver locally.the car is 3 door non sunroof and covered 77k from new with one owner.the car has never been welded or painted is all o.e. Paint has its scratches and so on but no rust(very solid) Interior is like new(no joke). I have no idea what it's worth if it was a gti I would have a better idea of its value.thanks in advance.
Last year I bought a j reg 3 door monza green 1.8 driver 59000 miles fsh 1 owner mint interior and body, was kept in her garage since 2003. 1 paid £2300 Hth Nas
That's a good buy Imo.i would have paid that also. Even more so for a Monza 3 door. I've decided against the 1.6 driver only due to the fact that it's a common Colour and lacks power being just 72bhp. I've just got to use to having 1800 k jet and my old digi gti mk2 Don't think I can stomach the lack of power. Although I poss would go for a 1.8 driver as I've heard they can get power gains Not far off gti???
