first car: 1972 1293gt mini clubman
current car: mk1 gx 1983 golf (soon to be 1979 polo n 900cc)

that was my mk1 gx befor sum dozy female drove into it

currently - 2.0 8v Mk1 driver (pile of bits and empty, rusty shell more like...)

 

First car - 82 X plate 1300 XR3i lookalikee Escort

Current - 1999 C230 Sport Kompressor Class
1994 1700 Diesel Astra Van
1990 8v Golf gti

 

1st car - Marine Blue 1.3 Mk2
Current - Oak Green 16v Mk2

(car in between them - White mk2 1.6)

first was a mk2 polo hatch 1043cc in silver and it rusted beyond repair in a year!

current car is a red mk2 jetta converted to a G60 but going back to a 1600 cos of engine problems [:^(]

I was wondering why I have worked all my life but our savings book just scrapes into four figures,then I got out my car photo album and realised at 42 years young I have owned over 50 cars.When I say owned I mean taxed,insured and used.Worst was a V/hall Omega 2.5 CDX.Bag of s###e.Shortest ownership was cavalier sri,bought from auction Wed' P/exed at garage Sat coz it was nackered.Best would be current car if the timing chain wasn't so noisy.Golf VR6.Or...the best could be shark nose 5-series BMW or....e-class merc',or......8-valve Breg Mk2,should have bought it back from insurance company.or...oh shut up.
