It's been a while since I owned a golf, but now I have one and 2 spare boxes. As far as I remembered, the box code was stamped on the flat flange at the bottom of the box, right at the edge of the flywheel housing. On the new boxes though (020 boxes) there are only VW part numbers there. No letters at all. Any idea where I might find the box code? A pic would be even nicer...... Ta TSC
