I was down in London the other week and saw a white Veyron with the private plate F1. It was like being in the presence of a celeb, so i thought id google it to see which famous person owns it. It only turns out that it a local business man to me and only three miles away from where i live. Never seen it in sunny Bradford before.
Was 'F1' not on a Merc SLR at some point? Just found this: http://www.carreg.co.uk/number_plates/get_news/62
i think everyone on cgti should donate 100 quid, then on cgti trackdays each member gets a go! so much better than a red letter day! swweetttt!
F1 and 1F used to be on a couple black volvos that belongs to chelmsford county council a few years back
Considering that the Buggati Veyron has precisely fook-all to do with Formula 1, I would suggest that the most desirable plate for the car is in fact
Not really doable in the UK though, our format includes at least two numbers. I took 'V1' to mean 'Vey-One' = Veyron. Probably how the owner intended?
I know, got that part wrong but trust me, your 'VEYR0N' is not possible using the UK system. You could have VEY 80N VEY 10N V37 RON though.
F1 belonged to Essex County Council and it used to be on The Mayor of Southend's Offical Limmo for a while..... 1f was also on another offical car. Apparently they were a gift from someone years ago, cant remember who though....
