I think windage trays were installed in the Mk3 diesels but open to advice here.

I'm thinking of putting one in my 1.8L PB engine which is installed in my T4.

Just wondering if it'll fit, how you fit it and where I can get one.

    Thanks

i'm pretty sure it'll fit the pb noo noo, it fits my 2l tall block which has the same sump as the 1.8. it just replaces the oem 4-cylinder sumpgasket, some people find they need slightly longer bolts to get the sump back on, but mine was ok. i'm not completely sure of what it does though.

    Cheers bud

Supposed to stop the oil slopping about everywhere. Engine in the T4 leans forward and aboviously everyting slops about a bit more in a taller , softer van.

Found a "sump gasket restrictor" on the GSF website. Is that it? 32.60 for the 1.9L 1Y diesel engine.

The 'baffle' replaces the sump gasket, sure there in 1Y's and AAZ engines.
