Saw this on 'breadvan Polo on ebay today and I can't believe there are no bids!! Only 20k :o miles from new and it looks mint. If I had the space I think I would bid on it. It would easily make a show car and there can't be many left in that condition. It could be a great base car for a project!!

It ends in just under an hour and is in Birmingham!

    CHECK IT OUT!!

    Looks nice,

but do my eyes deceive me or is the passenger lower door a different colour?

Also, these are by no means anywhere near as good as a Golf and please believe me on that

Good cars but I think I paid about half that for one not much less tidy in about 1999.

    Cheers

    It didn't sell!!

Well I am surprised this didn't sell! I appreciate it's not a Mk2 gti, but for a young driver it would be a way into Vdub ownership without being raped by an insurance company.

It may be gold...but it is retro and genuine 20k miles!! If the 'scene' people got hold of that they would be slamming it and putting a powerful engine in it!!

Tbh if the mileage is genuine and it's in as good a condition as it looks, I'd have thought someone would have paid 700 for it. Evidently from the outcome of the auction nobody else agrees though :p

brakes are easily solved, suspension is fine as long as you don't put bigs wheel on them.
