Mate who bought the red one lost the clutch pedal the other side of stone.
On the way back my thermostat housing gave up, just hope I managed to stop before the head gave up, oil was up to 120 and water wasn't quite at 3/4's.
Phoned the breakdown guy and got him to turn round and tow mine on the back.

EDIT: Needless to say, I got very very drunk that night.

That isn't good, two golfs dying, but getting wasted is fine!

 

a bit of help of tubthumped today fixing the gearbox (Read: a LOT of help)
and just of to get a new bolt for the thermostat housing on the blue one.
