She already has a record contract, album out apr 08 had a contract ages ago but nothing happened so brought out her own stuff on YouTube, loads of hits later, surprise surprise record company gets it's act together.
Heard the same stuff millions of times before. Its ok but as I say, Generic BS. Average music, even more average lyrics. Can hear similar stuff in any open mic night in any town. A kind of John Arne Riise of music. I used to be in a signed band and then worked as a promoter/tour manager and left it because Im sick of average rubbish getting famous due to a bit of blag internet buzz, created by record companies, and we fall for it, everytime. Next.
Just another none orignal Eva Cassidy/Crissie Hind/any female guitar/singer wanna be, mixed with a healthy dolop of Pop Idol cheese means I hate it But she'll probably be massive. For One album. And then disapear into obscurity and bitterness.
True, but that doesn't stop people sounding like her or trying to be like her imho. She ain't anything different nor special. And worst of all the frozen pic that is showing from youtube (before you hit play), makes her look like a proper chav holding a guitar.
I didn't say she was fantastic or anything? i just said what do people think of her music wise. I thought she sounded good, maybe just like other singers but a lot of new singers tend to sound like others until they find their zone. I wouldn't say holding a guitar makes you look like a chav.
holding a guitar doesn't make her look like a chav. The way that vid is paused makes her look like a chav who happens to be holding a guitar.
