    My old one [:^(] I miss it like mad, 2.0 8v Torque monster as my mates called it! Used to chew driveshafts and gearboxes up though! [:x]

    what sort of power/torque was it putting out?

    When it was run in it made 169bhp and 158lb/ft thing is everytime it burst a clutch or box, was below 3500rpm, so think it was more down to torque delivery than power, good fun tho!! :lol: You could overtake stuff at really low revs so it sounded like you weren't trying! ;)

    Hey Ausgolfer, great to have another one here. Where you at, and why arent you on VWvortex? We have a fairly good scene through the aus forum. Love to link up at a GTG. Race white 8v and white 16v!! Teach these new skoolers a lesson or 2... How big are those wheels?

    15 inch VW estorli's. Had them on my first 16V so easy to clean [:D]
