I have just removed my dizzy from my 16v KR head as fitting Ford EDIS and Megasquirt.

Do VW, or anyone, make a suitable cover to go on the end of the head to replace where the dizzy would normally fit??

Well, no, I expect, but suggest you either leave the old dizzy in there, or chop the end off one to plug the hole.

well i'm liking the shim idea. Thank you Rupe.

Ideally, i need a shim to block the Dizzy, and an L Shape bracket from this shim to hold the 4coil EDIS pack in place.

use abf dizzy, has single trigger window and cannot be rotated once fitted. just make up a cap to cover the dizzy arm hole and grind off the rotor arm peg
