    Bought this Mk2 last month, 57k 1 owner always garaged, so a nice rust free example:)

    I've just put some G60 alloys on it today along with the clear/red tails lights, and other than general servicing that's how it's going to stay.

    Also, just about finished the 3.2 conversion on my Corrado, after a few years doing it, it's difficult when you don't have your own garage, so it's mainly been done at a mates and my dads.

    Full build on the corrado forum:-

    Very nice, the pair of them. Proper neat work on that Coraddo engine install. I'm really tempted by a Coraddo as a project myself: such a timeless design. Have you thought about running the mk4 battery box, it keeps everything looking tidier in my mind, although awkward to fit.

    Was just reading my old Vr6 mk2 build thread and looking at the pics of my silver mk2 I did it in. A great and genuinely rare colour.

    Thanks for the compliments, I wanted to fit a Mk4 battery box, but one of the things not in the engine bay pics (bracket being powder coated) is the pas bottle, which sits right up against the battery, and I'm afraid the box is too big to fit in there..[:^(]

    Silver Mk2's rock:p

    Took me years to find a good one, seems to be quite an uncommon colour, not like todays cars...

    The quality of the work that you've put into this is amazing. Clearly you also have the skills and resources to make all of those custom parts, too. I'm very jealous. Even fabricating your own seats? I'm very impressed. Amazing inspirational stuff.

    Just one random question: what paints / processes did you use to paint your gearbox?

    Wow, thanks for the compliments, I can't take credit for all of it though, I've not done the wiring myself, and i didn't weld the ally seat back. I had the gearbox casing shot blast, then just a thin coat of alloy wheel spray paint once it's all back together. Not too thick or impedes the heat transfer.

    How do you find the time? and is that you doing ali welding? you are clearly talented, keep

    up the good work :clap::clap::clap:
