It also seems to hurt of a lot more when you fall off now as well. All about a bit of skateboarding in the old multi story car parks during the winter months lol
i want to play sat footie again.....in my head i can still do it. just the 17 year olds run rings around me..
I had the Andy Ruffell team special Raleigh Burner when I was 14. http://www.dtrcartwright.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Burner/85_07a.htm Few years ago a mate bought a GT performer to try and bring himself back to the heydays of his youth, I had a go on it and quickly realised I'm not 14 anymore [:^(]
Best thing you can do to get back into it is gert a copy of ride, usually have reviews on complete bmxs with one budget but capable. Something like 250 could get you a nice Wethepeople.
sounds good ta.i rode mtb for nearly 10yrs but i prefurred the laid back vibe from bmx,now ive got my own house and im married now with a 7 month old son but at 24 i dont think i should just sit a watch the extreme channel. its time to down the remote and knife and fork, and get fit again. just carnt find anywhere to ride!
Its funny I did this the other day, and hardly recognised any of the companys making parts not, good to see standard, Terrible One, and wethepeople, but half the other brands wtf? lol Skate parks etc can be found in ride and other related magazines, or local bike shop might have some info? Trails is a bit different as there usually found by word of mouth, and thats hard work when you've been out "the scene" for a while.
