Question is this one easy to replace by myself ? internal 120 kPa map sensor cant get it anywhere so i have ordered a 115kPa sensor for it here https://www.pro-chiptuning.com/map-ladedruck-sensoren.php They say it will work and as i can see its just 3 pins soldering on the ECU doesn't look like rocket science to me or am i mistaking here ?
yep as long as the 3 pins line up on the new sensor to the original position and the operating range is within what the ecu expects then its a pretty simple swap. even if the pins dont match you can fit it inside and run wires between the board and the sensor. another option you could go with is run wires from the board to unused pins on the ecu connector, then you can mount a map sensor externally instead
Yes this one works perfect no lag any more and hopefully some more miles with a full tank of fuel I now did 300KM on 55 litres and this was the only fault in my system that's why i changed it
Hi, When you say 'lag', did you mean the idle stabilisation valve kicking in late (and so almost stalling the car) or something else please ? Also, did the map sensor appear as a fault code and what flavour of digifant (as my ecu is now over 25 years old) was this with please ? Thx
