For the size we are using (195/45/16) F1s and Proxys are 30-40% more expensive than the A539s. The set I have on the car at the moment still have 3-4mm of tread left and they've now had nearly 4 hard hours on track and 3-4000 miles on road (...with Nick driving most of them![:D])

I'm beginning to swear by them as value for money is top notch.

MyTyres show them (F1's) as 6.00 more than A539's?

Whats that "With Nick driving most of them" mean't to mean? :p  You had a perfect example of how carm and safe my driving is.

I'd say that have more that 3 - 4 mm tbh, but not much  Especially after Sunday. And as Chris Eyre can probably vouch (for he was at FCS) I didn't exactly treat the car/tyres very nicely when I drive it. [:D]

We have yet to have a Wet track day on the A539's, so I reserve a little judgement on them untill that happens.

Well in that case I may consider F1s then... When I bought the current set F1s were 20+ a tyre more expensive than the A539s.

Where can you get F1s for that price?! I've been quoted 67 a wheel for 185/55/14s!

I want F1s as noone ever complains about them, regardless of driving style or road conditions!

Checked but they don't list F1 in 14inch - most cars these days come with 15 so they are usually cheaper.
