car is definately staying 16v !! and NA, love the sound !! the wheels are speedline turini's, they have adequete clearance for most brake applications but i had to buy a new set of wheels when i upgraded to 304mm discs + 4pots! (pics coming) yeah, I work at Uxbridge college !!
Lookin Good as usual G ! Hav'nt seen you driving about lately tho ! Show season is near, bring on Santa Pod !

G - got some pics from the day we went to Snetterton, will post them up once we get to the 'cage bit'
Awesome car G! be nice for it to have a bit of a tidy up, was looking a bit sad sitting outside your place last time i saw it. Needs to get back out on track sharpish!!
Err Mike, if you read the thread - G is putting up his pics in stages of how his car has developed, we haven't got to the 'cage bit' yet... That's 'my' pic anyway, thief!
Oops got confused cuz im welsh innit. That pic has had pride on my HD in the directory labeled "lush mk1's" since you took it Gary .
How did you go about filling in the rear bumper holes tidy? I take it you cannot cover them over until the panel is fitted?
The car remained in the similar spec above, although a 2.0ltr 16v was added, Until November 2005. At this point I decided to put in a full weld in roll cage. (big thanks to Chris Eyre, Dub Nutta & Graham Vanstone for all your help and advice!!) One of the main reasons for cage choice, my old track car, hit a tree at around 60-70mph ended up rolling several times A good race seat and harness no doubt saved my life!
ahhh cheers gents for the comments!! you can roll em up !! They are now thicker they kept popping out as there wasn't enough meat to to rivet them properly !
mk1's that have always stuck in my head are yours, ian's, reeves & mad20vs. Any chance at a later date you could stick a big pic of it for a desktop or a link to it?
