Replacement keys for snap-on toolchests?

    Contact your local dealer and he’ll order the keys for you, I altered all mine so they worked off the same key

    The codes are on the lock itself and also on the keys (3651) thats all you need not a big problem from the snap on stealer

    If you dont know a dealer. i can pm you the phone number one that comes to where i work.

    he's called ste western, just as expensive as the next snap on dealer, :lol:

    yeah there all the same price no matter with one you choose unless your lucky enough to find one that has a set theve had a while and wants rid

    Is it the conventional type key or the round one?

    Looking at the pic im certain its the round ones with the plastic spanners attached

    Think it was a library pic though, if they are the round ones, I have a spare new lock with 2 keys he can have, it’s what I took out of my new box when I changed them to the same lock and key

    Word of warning when ordering replacment keys, i had to order 2 (1 for each box) it took over 12 months for it to come though

    good thing was 5 each key

    if i needed them i would of just got a new locks

    my roll cab has no keys, went missing ages ago. good job there are only a few at my work, all of whom i would trust with my life never mind me tools.

    Its got the older conventional type key, are they interchangeable? i.e. could i buy the spare lock and keys off vrbanana and swap the lock for my current one?

    would say if its identical to the pic but just with a slot instead of a cylinder lock yes but its a risk youll need to take as these are two different lock types
