    That's pretty epic right there Edd... lovely shell and great to see all the wee clips proper retainer etc - you will be well pleased with that when done.... fit and forget type parts and prep! :)

    The old loom I sorted 4 years back ...twas a good job but want to redo it, put ECU in car etc

    Enjoyed reading through this and all the detailled photos, keep up the good work !!

    It's almost like watching a how a Golf Mk2 is built, if they were hand built instead of production line :-)

    Take your time no need to rush it, when this is finished I can see it picking up pretty much every show and shine award possible! Astounding attention to detail! a re sprayed mk2 in red is perfect [:D]

    Foam is falling to bits and I hate things not right, so had to come apart

    Best to split to remove flaps

    Old foam removed and found some new foam from mk4 golf door panel speaker blanks :thumbup:

    All cleaned and good to go, just going to get more foam tomorrow

    Airbox now done :)
    bit slow but wasn't happy with the foam I had and getting the right stuff took longer than I thought

    Old foam bits I had as can be seen on the flap to the top right ...was a cut and shut job :thumbd:
