Great attention to detail here. What is the foam and where did you get it from? I'm just the same it has to be one piece.

I noticed the new fuel tank brackets early in the thread if it's going to sit outside again ideally you'll want to wax those with dynax UC or similar both sides then put them on and over spray the underside.

Bet the 305's cost you a bit. The disks are pretty expensive!

    Nice work! Looks very fresh.

Could you do me a favour if possible? Could you take a couple of measurements of the 305mm discs? I need:

    - hub mounting face (back of disc) to the rear braking surface in mm.
    - thickness of disc mounting area in mm.

    Thanks.

Just getting the last bits I need to finish her then hope to get stuck in again next month :)

    Went to creationsmotorsport_uk
For the Mk2 to Brembo brake lines ...nice and easy and came the next day

Then after a bit of searching I managed to find a set of flat center caps for my Rays, with the Black longer nut covers will be sweet :)
Wee note.... These would not have fitted the car before as the standard bearing hub cap stuck out to far, but running polo gti ones now.
Same colour as rims and Alloy.

Taking this of the road two years ago was not a good idea
As I have lost interest and just don't seem to have the drive to finish it now
Mates keep telling me to throw a few days at it and finish it and thats all it would take,
but I open the garage door look at it .. walk in a lift one of my bikes and away I go
not sure what its future is...even put cloth cover over it now ...out of sight out of mind [:s]
