Hi mike, I’ve found them really good. When I bought them they were a lot cheaper than the Toyo R888’s but they are the same price as them now! Mine probably have one track day left in them so was planing to buy the R888’s next and see how they compare.
So I’ve been working on keeping the front brakes cooler as they get very hot! As I’m running 312mm front discs I have 6mm spacers to allow the carriers to fit the bigger discs. So I have had made some brake duct brackets laser Curt from 6mm thick steel To replace the 6mm spacers.
Hi mate, thanks. The air intake grills are on eBay... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/222977274773
Hi mike, I did have a moment but then changed my mind. Just started a new job, kids being a pain and track time was looking a little slim... so I had a moment and then changed my mind. Managed to book donington for bank holiday Monday so was happy again lol
Managed to get out at Silverstone last month... Although I had a brake calliper fail on me... one emergency trip to GSF for dad and back on track... had to let him take it for a spin after that lol
Had a four wheel alignment on Friday to get ready for the next outing at donington on Monday. Considering I haven’t had it done for a few years all nearly on point! Small tracking adjustment and sorted. All loaded up for donington tomorrow. Hoping for a dry day... fingers crossed!
Wow, nice to see a thread being commented on at all. I followed this one as I have my MK3 abf rally car under a sheet in the warehouse, this is making me want to get it out again Hope all are well on these forums Noel
