I have a weird issue where ill turn the key of the car and the fuel pump won't prime, then I try another time and it will turn on. 5 minutes after that it primes and starts but if I wait a few hours it does not prime. I replaced the relay and fuse. Im stumped.

Try bridging the relay after its left for a few hours maybe a sticky pump

sticky pump would mean bad one? I have a parts car with a working one i might just slap that in.

Bridge the relay first before changing pump

an easy way is swap a 17/18/100 relay into the fuel relay slot, fuel pump should then always come on with ignition

ok did that and the fuel pump went on and cranks but now dosent start still.

REALLY WEIRD, if i adjust these screws and crank it it sometimes starts.

Is anything else intermittent on the electrics? The ignition switch could be on its way out.

I redid the grounds under the hood, the ignition switch, took out the old ****ty alarm system and crimped the ignition wires back, changed the battery and dist, cap and rotor and STILL have a intermittent starting issue.

have a look at the ecu relay next if its an 8v, 32 in slot 3. put the original fuel relay then listen/feel the ecu relay every time you switch on the ignition, if it doesnt click at the same time it wont start/prime then you have found the culpret :)

you can use a mk3 golf one #30, those are cheap and available at the dealers
