yep. check any recent posts by 95GLX on the 12vVR6 forum in the Technical part of vwvortex. some movie cips on there
looks like getting thb's is all about personal choice realy i love the sound of a turbo but worrie so much when you go flat out it will detonate and tbh's will sound mental any one know about the price of em ?
VR6s have different induction lengths internally anyway (to do with the VR design of having one head on top of the V, making the engine as compact as it is for its capacity and number of cylinders), I assume the different length trumpets are to cancel this out as much as possible.
I found one, Gary... but it wouldn't load up?!?! Will try again and report back Must hear VR6 ITB's NOW!!!
Crazy: Here's the vids - someone else try them as they won't load for me [:^(]: 1) http://forum.vwsport.com/dload...=2478 = 3 different dyno runs 2) http://forum.vwsport.com/dload...=2479 = walk through of engine bay 3) http://forum.vwsport.com/dload...=2480 = close-up at W.O.T. 4) http://forum.vwsport.com/dload...=2480 = mixed vids (All nabbed from Vortex ) Edited by: H8SV8S
2 step, what you call it, 2 step, what you call it, garage, what you call it, garage, what you call it. Tell me what you caaaaal iiit! Dunno, sound interesting tho.
guessing because its a V, 3 of the inlet ports are slightly further away from the front of the car, so to keep all the induction lengths equal. 225 at the wheels seems a bit low, i presume hes not tuned it at all, because obviously given the capacity it could easily see over 300 at the fly near 10k.
