The four electrode ones are 's!

I assume because of the cost they are better - anyone had experience of them?

91 8v mk2 can only be a PB unless he hay one of the amzingly rare cat equipped cars that had a different code which i cant remember!! EDIT: its PL

the NGK website says BP6ET for all 1.8 8v engines for a mk2 except PG

the other option is Bosch W7DTC again listed for all 1.8 8v engines except PG

4 probe ones arnt worth the extra dollar, multiple electrodes last a bit longer than singles is all, 4 probes dont last much better than tripples so save your money.

main advantage of tripples over singles is they dont get bashed out of spec in the box, ask andrewf he'll tell you ;)

Bosch Super+ (single electrode) is all the sparkplug you need.

    All this multi-electrode cobblers, is...well...cobblers.

unless its been modified i would agree. VW spec plugs for a reason. soon as you start modding things then you may need to change the plugs

The PL is a 16V GTI engine, as common in Germany and mainland Europe. It is similar to the KR but has a cat and different inlets.
