my friend can get a hold of a '99 2.0 8v jetta motor and tranny, he wants to swap it into his mk2 gti, is this a fairly easy swap for beginners to the vw world ? i know so far that the ecu, pedal assembly, wiring harness, and possibly the subfloor need to be changed.. any other things ? is it a worth while swap ?
