Bit of a no brainer for me - Corrado wins hands down over a mk3 Golf.

Used to have a Corrado VR, now got a Golf VR...........best thing i ever did!

No, seriously, it was. I don't think the Corrado was quite right in one way or another, because the Golf is quicker. It doesn't handle so well admittedly, but it's much better built IMO.

I have recently been looking for a Rado VR6 to join my G60 - maybe I'm unusually choosy but I gave up after viewing about a dozen - theres a lot of cars out there that are basically sound but being priced as minters. I had a budget of 7k - the only way I was going to get what I wanted was to buy a straight but scruffy one for 4k and spend the rest on getting the thing put right - unfortunately I didn't have time on my side and wife pressured me into buying a mint Audi 2.6 Cabrio instead[:^(]

The one I was behind once on the M1 didn't seem to be getting away...
Don't see how the Golf is quicker when it's got less of everything including style. ;) :p

It's much easier to find a nice Golf, and I don't worry about parking the Golf anywhere. I'd be far more paranoid with a Corrado!
