I've got a few power mods in my '02 1.8t. I'm not looking to burn any more gass or get any more power out of her right now. I am looking into getting it to the road better. I have no experience with performance clutches. What brands are good? This car is my daily driver so i don't want anything race worthy, just something with a little more grab to it. Any suggestions, insight, advice is well appreciated. Thanks

If you're sticking with the standard power there is no point putting an uprated clutch in.

If it's slipping it's just worn. Save some cash and stick an OEM one in.

    That doesn't answer my question

I'm not stuck with the standard power. I've doubled the boost and other power mods.

if you want more... consider changing to 228mm sized and older ABF/G60 flywheel. Yours should be dual mass as_is

Spec clutchs and VR6 spec'd stuff, Helix etc.

I've gone off Helix due to them not lasting long on the friction side, be they organic or cintered paddle.

got much better service life so far from my Spec unit from the US

least theirs a choice I guess.

Sorry mate, missread the post! [:[]

I'm running a billet G60 flywheel with Sachs plate and ACT uprated cover. Rated at 340ft/lb.

Great setup and easy to drive in traffic.
