I'm in need of a decent uprated clutch for my mk1 20VT, need something that can take some serious power as I killed a standard clutch in under a month and I haven't even started with the K04 upgrade yet. Anybody got any recommendations as to whats good for these boxes? Cheers Bob
helix stuff is spot IMO, best bet is to find out roughly what sort of torque you may be running when it's running right then find out whats best, as most clutch manufactures rate then on torque output I found Madi Gras motorsport very helpful in the past, and best pricing!!!
I bought a 4 paddle Helix and Sachs Sporting pressure plate from Madi Gras, works very well indeed!, not bad for daily driving once you get used to it.. I can spin the tyres in 3rd and the cluch takes it, only problem then is there`s no weak link between the engine and the 020 grenade..
