020 Crownwheel -> diff bolt part no

    Just found this:

    N 900 257 1

    Should be a part no listed by VW? Anyone able to check?

    If you can't find the part number it may not be obsolete, as the part number might of changed at HQ.

    Hmm, oh well, was a long shot. N-prefix is VW code for nut/bolt, so makes sense.

    We'll get to the bottom of it :)

    Think they changed from individual bolts and nuts to a set, think the set number is 171 498 088A, about 40+ per set + VAT

    Not all bolts and nuts have the N prefix, but most do. That bolt kits fits most Scirocco’s, Golf’s, Jetta’s, Polo’s etc
