020 gearbox ratios

    right guys been on the strip today and this is what has come to light

    my 8v gearbox that im running with the 20v in 1st and 2nd i get amazing launch beat most things of the line

    3rd gear seemed to run out of steam and 4th was pooh to

    so whats the differences between 8v 3rd and 4th and 5th

    and the 16v ratios

    would it be possible to use the 8v 1st and 2nd in a 16v box?
