Does anyone have the torque spec for the 020 bolt that holds 5th onto the main shaft? I had 150nm from the mk1 Haynes manual and from the mk3 vr6 Bentley manual, but on attempting to torque it up to 150, I destroyed the bolt (right). The one on the left is how it’s supposed to look:
yep thats what Elsa says as well, it also says you're supposed to renew it and coat with self-locking compound. if its used maybe thats why it snapped? Hotgolf/gas n gears/Martin Emment is the man to ask though he does this all day long
