The VR6 runs the same 02A 'box and (bloody heavy) flywheel as the Mk3 16v/Ibiza 2.0 16v, right? Do they then run the same clutch?

If so, then it would take decent torque to get the clutch slipping in a ABF 16v...right?

yeah the flywheel on the abfs is seriously heavy, clutch is the same as the vr6 IIRC

I think I'll lob a kilogram off the flywheel when I do the clutch then...So if a VR6 has 235nm/172lb of torque, then I'd guess that the clutch is rated to at least 250+nm. So it should be ok for some time on a modded 16v :)
