You want late mk1 cab shafts with 100mm inner and outer joints.

I ask this purely because its something i'll be doing 'in the future'...sorry for all the questions!

Late mk1 Cab shafts...I hear these are larger diam than std mk1 items,
Is this an obvious difference? I assume then that earlier cab shafts
    are the same as tin-tops?

What age did they change to the thicker diameter?

Sciroccos...i'm assuming that means they also uprated the shafts for 'late' sciroccos?

Specific Models or just after a certain year?

    100mm inners/outers....are these mk2 spec joints put onto the mk1 shafts? 16v mk2?

Do you mean Mk2 GOLF 16v shafts? No, they're a touch too long. They have to come from a Scirocco to be the right length.

The Mk4 02J 'box will work with the Scirocco 16v driveshafts too.
