   hi.
   
   just wondering if it would be a wise move to put a 02A gearbox (from mk3 16v 2.0l) into my mk1 running a 9A 16v motor.
   
   what are the ratios like? will it work well with the engine in a light weight car like a stripped out mk1?

   very high ratios, an agc from a passat is cable with mk2 16v ratios in it
