replaced the master , slave , hose (hel 3.5mm bore) fitted it all and pedal doesnt shoot up upon return , i thought it was a bleeding issue so assembled it all on the bench with its own tank and bench bled it , master was hard with the slave blocked which im sure tells me no air?

fitted it all on the car without breaking the lines so should be golden still...just the same , pedal comes up slow

any ideas ...the pedal when disconected does come up , but i seem to recall my gti was pretty fierce on the spring , worth trying another over center spring?

Clutches often run a bigger bore line.. Wonder is that the issue?

Rusty pivot? Green golf had accelerator issue due to it being stood, lubed up and much better.
