hi. i got a 02A box and flywheel, shifter and cable clutch conversion parts to fit into my mk1 16v turbo. the parts are mostly from a mk3 2.0l 16v. anyone know what mounts need changing, and what driveshafts will work if i use standard mk1 GTI hubs?
Hi, I have fitted a 02A in my mk1 and I used 100mm inner cv joints on the standard drive shafts. You will need the starter and the bolts for the starter are longer, I modified the MK1 mounts to make it fit, use a speedo cable for a 11/1300cc engine as they are a screw on type. Hope this helps. You can get the Mk1 02A mounts from Euroteck. I got mine from a guy called Dave Luben, good mounts, if you need contact details just PM me.
