Pictures as requested - I'm relatively pleased with them. Orange indicator bulbs are on their way (though I haven't been pulled for my white ones yet!) and I need to drill a hole for the fog. Opinions? (and yes I know I BADLY need wheels and suspension ) Edited by: Mikedav
Thanx guys. Yes wheels are BADLY needed, it looks so pedestrian at the moment...and suspension, but both will have to wait as I am seriously broke. Dont think Im gonna go coil overs based on cost, looking at an FK High Tec kit at 290? 35mm/40mm drop, full springs and matched dampers, any good? Or perhaps H and R but thats more expensive. Either way 18"s and a 40mm drop are next on my list...
Thanx Rainking, yeah the wheels aren't bad, don't get me wrong; its just the MKIV has wheel arches the size of Wales and they look far too small from most angles; See the zoomed out shot for example. Look how far in the wheel is, and how high it looks. Drives me mad everytime I see it because I know how good it can look correctly lowered and spacered... Oh well, Ill be able to sort it eventually.
Lights look smart, much better than standard. I saw some cool modded Boras in the States, there are loads there. Got some good US mags with them in too, will see if there are any good pics and post them up.
Yeah I know what you mean! Most of the info on them comes from over there. But I don't think it will be long before they take off here too - if a VR6 was 12k new like it is in the States I think we would have the same scene here...
