Does anyone have a list of ratios for the 084 box code 4F or 5F?? ie the one which would typically be in an early mk2 1.3 4 speed. cheers y'all!
cheers Prof, good link but sadly they dont have the ratios for the puny 08 boxes.... If I mange to get a lot of info on this I'll do a chart.
From ETKA : 1st to 4th gears have same ratio for both 4F and 5F 1st = 3.45:1 2nd = 1.95:1 3rd = 1.25:1 4th = 0.89:1 4F diff ratio = 3.87:1 5F diff ratio = 4.06:1 As far as I can tell the 1.3 should be the 4F.
Cheers Mr. Cake! Much appreciated. from what I can work out it has a 4F and I'm going to drop in an 8P i have spare..... same ratios, just an extra .74 to give it a massive 23mph 5th gear!
