i have a mk3 polo 1043cc and was wonderinh how hard it would be too convert this too a 1.3? jus so i have a little more poke cus its lame for overtaking, cheers for any advice or help. jimgolf
It's a bolt in change. The throttle body, ecu and exhaust are different, but that's about it. The ecu plugs in place of the existing one as does the throttle body. You can tune yours by using a Polo GT cam, exhaust and the larger spi unit from the 1.3 or even the 1.8. Have a search on clubpolo for ideas.
