Hi guys, I have a 1.8 8v engine pb i gess, and i want take a few extra hp. I'm thinking about giving a touch on the head, get a 4-2-1 headers, exhaust line with direct oem Mufler, make a remap, iridium spark plugs, FPR. Is there a more aggressive cam off another vw that is plug and play in this engine? What can i make more? Thanks!
i would get the head and exhaust done then just get a lumpier cam in it, will get you somehting like 25-30 more bhp, then getting the mapping or whatever done on it.
Thanks mate! That's my idea, but this car will be my dayli so i don't want spend too much money on the cams. I do a little research and i found a 8v engine with a nice cams. 1.8 8v gx/ht 90hp Duration (in./ex.) 223/220 Lift (in. /ex.) 10.08/10.80 Will be plug and play on my engine?
