Hi after a bit of advice from anyone in the know. I've bought a set of front hubs from a Tintop 1.8gti 1984 (A reg) now I'm gathering bits to do a 1.8t conversion so far I got a 1.8t agu eng and matching mk4 gearbox so I gotta buy some 100mm flanges for the box. But I'm confused as hell over the driveshaft and hub configuration thing. Now I've searched and I hear a lot about match the hubs to the shafts. So I also bought the driveshafts from the same gti thinking they would be 100mm. I don't have my callipers at home to measure accurately but I think the inner cv is more like 90ish maybe 94mm. Have I completely wasted my money or is something salvageable from my pile of bits. For example can I buy 100mm inner joints and use what is already on the outer ? Cheers for any advice Darren.
