ive got a BAM code 2003 engine.

running audi loom n ecu Revo software currently set at low boost 7 timing 5, crappy exhaust that WILL be replace as soon as i can.

Rolling roaded at 250bhp and 300lb torque. boosts at 22psi holds just over 20 all the way up. Also got a Forge FMIC.

Am hoping to get nearer the 280/300 bhp mark.

oh, and before the car was Revo'd i ran a 14.4 at 103mph @ santa pod (so engine was at 225bhp)

that time is about right for 225bhp, bout the same as a fiat coupe 20vt book time (14.5 @ 100) managed to get 14.7 in my friends coupe @ the pod running standard management with a SS exhust. I think the coupe has an LSD, helps in get off the line better for FWD, but a mk2 with standard 225bhp 1.8t would probably be a bit faster in gear.

yeah, you'd be surprised, 0-100 in 14.5s, and 1/4 @14.5, its the fastest standard FWD car ever made, problem is - its set up pretty much optimally from the factory, could handle maybe a bit more power, but the 1/4 times dont drop much below the early 14s or late 13s, fwd just cant cope with the power off the line. There were plenty of modded Fiat Coupes as it was a 200sx vs Fiat coupe day at the pod, some 280-300bhp examples running in the late 13s early 14s, not much faster - still fast though.

the new saab 9-3 aero has 250bhp and my dads friends one that has unbelieavble power and handles like a dream, I think that could take a little bit more power and then it would be extremely quick, dunno what the torque output is but it certainly moves
