I looking for possibility to use 1.8t 20v big turbo with DSG dq500.
The question is what I need from donor car for full swap of 4 motion DSG dq500 to me 1.8t rabbit to hold 500 hp and 700 nm.
First of all how to connect dsg transmission to 1.8t wire lump for correct operation of dq500?
    Thanks for help.

have you got a box code for the dsg lump you plan to loom, and/or the year and type of car you will be taking it from so I can grab some diagrams for you. the ecu and loom obv are going to be needed plus possibly the abs system? the wirign connections wont be too bad though most of it will be self contained just a coupel power and comms wires I would assume

on the face of it the wiring looks very simple, however the problem is finding out what other bits and bobs are needed to keep the ecu happy and what versions are compatible with the ecu. for example im assuming it needs a roadspeed signal thru the canbus at the very least, now can you use mk4 clocks to supply, or a mk4 abs ecu, or will it need mk5 clocks and/or abs unit etc...

anyway the diagram is in my sig 5n1dsgecu.pdf

The fastest and easy way to swap DSG in mk1 what I found is mk4 R32 with DSG DQ250, if MK4 R32 yfve old style of ABS System and ABS sensors.
If same one have access for drawings or another resourses and can confirm with sensore and ABS system MK4 r32 DSG used.
    Thanks in advance,

So you actually have a driving example then?
What did you do to let the transmission module know what engine torque was being delivered, as well as driver pedal position engine rpm etc?

That is if you are willing to share your secret.

    So sorry for late replay.
We tested our new soft for DSG, all working well. Gearchange as per map selected, engine respond very well with typical DSG kick of revs when changed gear.
So, long story to be short 1.8 ME 7,5 working with DSG. Custom modification required, we are working now on kit for our customers.
Kit will be realesed after test of 500hp 1.8t on drag strip. In the roads everefhing does wery well, very smooth gearchange, very fast kick up when sekected S drive.
Paddle shifting remaining for test and lounch from 5000 rpm , but i went offshore to collect same money.
