1.8t conversion

    I was told today that a 1.8t (150bhp) conversion could be done for about a grand.

    This seems a bit cheap to me, is it true?

    if you do all the work yourself and do the leg work finding cheap bits, then yes probably

    I reckon mine with the DTA has been about 2000 to get in and start etc. Including custom downpipe, rad fan, intercooler and pipework.
    But will rise as i want lots of goodies.

    If i did the standard management and intercooler i reckon a Grand could of been achievable.
