Hi all, i have tried clubpolo to no avail. I am going to be changing the cambelt on my 1998 1.9 TDI Polo this weekend hopefully. Is anyone clued up or done this one before. I have done a 1.3 Mk2 polo one before without the Camshaft locking tools. I think i will be buying them for this job though. Do you know where i can get them from? Do VW sell them, or GSF? I take it just the camshaft and crankshaft need to be locked in place. Im under the impression only the tensioner, water pump and powersteering pump are attatched. Or are they on another belt?
