the charactoristics of the sound produced,

a sealed box gives a quicker more punchy sound,

a ported box will be slower and drop lower,

what sort of music do you listen to?

you will want a sealed box then, as the bass is rather quick in them,

is that quite a good spec for a little 10" sub?

found these on ebay about 15-30 for a box already made

what power amp would be better for the sub and mabey to power some components too :)

TBH you might aswell buy one! Make sure it is made out of 18mm MDF.

If you're gonna make one it's gonna cost at least 15 including MDF/vinyl/carpet. Oh and there's the time involved.

For 20 I'd just get a sealed one that is to teh above specs.
