Can anyone recommend a good 10" sub for under 100? It will be replacing a Kenwood one of indeterminate age and origin which recently fell to pieces. If it makes any difference, it'll be dropping into a sealed box and hooked up to this amp, running bridged at 260w RMS (I think).

I like the look of a couple of the Alpine ones I've seen, and Phoenix Gold have also been recommended.

JL audio...tho the only one in your price range is the 10W0 and it is a 125w rms sub, so your amp is a bit too much for it. the 10W3 is fine, but costs lots more.

the 10w0 will take the amps power easily with no probs but jl are overpriced compared to others mentioned above but are decent quality

i'd go RE but i am biased ;)

Cheers for the suggestions. Yeah the amp is 2 ohm stable so I take it the RE10V2 will be OK? Also liking the look of that Digital Designs DD1010 .Never heard much about them before though. Decisions decisions.

Is it important to match the RMS output of the sub I get with that of the amp (260w)? If I get a lower rated sub, is it just a case of keeping the amp level slightly lower?
