You will need major arch work. What i did on mine was to cut of the old arches, be careful you don't cut too much of the inner arch otherwise you may have problems. I then got some arch repair pannles from VW and then rewelded them on further out to cover the wheels. It may look a bit strange in the pic but they match up to corrado bumpers. I can now fit my 8.5x18 or my 9x17 without any problems
Thanks AxlFoley It took ages to get it like that. (there is not much filler on it) I try and keep a factory look/feel to the car. there is nothing worse that looking like you have ram raided halfords.
Speaking of Tyres. Can anyone recommend Tyres that will fit these wheels or can be stretched to fit?? I havent got a clue and neither has my local Tyre place
No i havent got them yet i wanted to know if i could actually fit them before i bought them. Im not buying them as a package they are for sale individually.
You can stretch the tyers on. your best bet is speak to style dymanix. they do this sort of thing all the time. I would say a 235 35 17 would look good on a 10j rim. I am running 225 35 17 on a 9j rim and it looks good.
Im running Yokahama AVS sports 245s on a 10.5 x 18 rim, and its streched to hell + dont lettin the missus be drivin it, no forgivness when it comes to kerbs
