10 x 17 inch wheels

    You will need major arch work. What i did on mine was to cut of the old arches, be careful you don't cut too much of the inner arch otherwise you may have problems. I then got some arch repair pannles from VW and then rewelded them on further out to cover the wheels. It may look a bit strange in the pic but they match up to corrado bumpers.
    I can now fit my 8.5x18 or my 9x17 without any problems

    It took ages to get it like that. (there is not much filler on it)
    I try and keep a factory look/feel to the car. there is nothing worse that looking like you have ram raided halfords. :lol:

    Speaking of Tyres. Can anyone recommend Tyres that will fit these wheels or can be stretched to fit?? I havent got a clue and neither has my local Tyre place [:s]

    Alun have you got these wheels yet? if you bought them new no doubt they wouldcome with tyres.

    No i havent got them yet i wanted to know if i could actually fit them before i bought them. Im not buying them as a package they are for sale individually.

    You can stretch the tyers on. your best bet is speak to style dymanix. they do this sort of thing all the time. ;)
    I would say a 235 35 17 would look good on a 10j rim.
    I am running 225 35 17 on a 9j rim and it looks good.

    Im running Yokahama AVS sports 245s on a 10.5 x 18 rim, and its streched to hell + dont lettin the missus be drivin it, no forgivness when it comes to kerbs :p
