    Hi all

Recent 50% off oil at europarts lead me into buying some petronas racer 10W/50 oil for my mk2 ABF track car

Have not put the oil in yet and was wondering if anyone has had previous experience with this grade of oil ? I know the 50 rating of the oil is good for the high temperature of track use but I have heard people say that the thickness may not be good for the older engine design of the ABF and is only suited to newer engines

So, what are other oils are you guys and gals using for track days ???

    Thanks

I ran 5w/40 Gulf competition in my ABF track car.
Ran fine and never got overly hot.
