i have an F reg m1 golf, off the road at the moment with immaculate bodywork but a 1.3 engine, does any one know of a basic guide to fitting a 16/8v into it, just incase their is anything i should know, im not all that clued up on the mk1's yet so any help would be aqppreciated. its not going to happen any time soon with this weather.
yer, its a SA import. sourced a 1.8 mk 1 engine, unfortuanlty with no driveshafts loom and manifold. keep my eyes out
Try the specialist breakers for those bits, or even just try a post in the various classifieds. You'll find the engine mount on the drivers side needs moving. Al
