Does anyone know where i can get a 16V Cooling Hose Flange i think the part number is G2023-60612. would it be a dealer part only, as searching through the net i can only seem to get american sites. Cheers its the part that takes the the hose coming from the top of the rad. its fixed onto the engine just above the oil cooler.
Go to the dealer and get a new one. It's less than a tenner and you'll regret it when your scrapyard find cracks and you've got to pull it all apart again.
New ones are plastic which are nasty so a search in scrappies for a aluminium one would be worth a try.
A new plastic one is less than a tenner from dealers it is just that after a long while on engine they go hard and warped so when refitting it is a potential for leaks. Metal ones are far superior but by the time you remove plastic one I don`t think it will be a problem.
na of course a tenner is not to much, but if they tend to f' up then i'll try to sorce a metal one if there about, obviuosly not a crap one, Quality not quantity
It is well worth changing it for a metal one, I done this on my previous Mk2 16v, problem solved, and a as said, far superior to the plastic cr@p
